Chateau Callenberg
The castle Callenberg - hunting lodge and summer castle, most recently long-standing Coburg principal residence of the dukes of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha - is due to its history and its neo-Gothic architectural style of an important architectural monument. It stands on a wooded hill in the Coburg district of Beiersdorf, in the northwest, six kilometers from the city center. Since 1998, the castle has been home to the Duchy of Saxony-Coburg and Gotha as well as the German Rifle Museum since 2004 and is one of the city's attractions.
